I felt slighted when…

I felt slighted when a person once close to me, repeatedly insulted me and tried to downplay my intelligence…yet come to find out, this same individual was taking my decades of research and giving it out to all of their friends, who turned out to be my enemies. So, in other words, while this person was calling me dumb and stupid (despite me graduating with honors, on the presidents list in college), like many others, this person was receiving credit from knowledge and creative ideas they probably never would have come across on their own. Not saying they couldn’t, its just not likely based on personality differences. For example, it’s highly unlikely for a street thug to carry the same knowledge as a attorney or law judge. I seem to always find myself around the kids who tried to copy my answers during an exam or the kids who always made me do all the work during group projects, but still received credit despite them not putting in the work. I feel like I’ve tolerated all I can stomach from trying to help people who don’t appreciate or respect me and my work.
